Your satisfaction is my inspiration.

At Karen Clothier Design & Interiors, my mission is to create beautiful and inspirational designs and spaces; interiors that reflect my client's personal lifestyles and tastes by listening to, understanding, and interpreting the manner in which they wish to live in and use them. I will do this through dedication and professionalism, providing the highest level of customer service throughout the design process, until the desired design and space is achieved. The client’s satisfaction is my inspiration.

Karen Clothier

Owner & Designer

Karen Clothier Design & Interiors was founded in 2018 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the ability to accept projects throughout the greater metro and surrounding areas. I relocated to Arizona with my husband in the spring of 2016, and although a new resident, I have been coming out to the desert regularly since 2005.  I love the desert lifestyle and landscape.

I first developed my love of interior design by remodeling every home my husband and I have owned. Upon moving to Scottsdale, I was accepted into the American Institute of Interior Design in Fountain Hills, where I graduated with Honors.  I also have my BS in Business from Oklahoma State University and worked in the banking and healthcare industry.  I am a member of the International Furnishings and Design Association.

I have always had an eye for design and a love for beautiful furnishings, finishes and quality workmanship. I work closely with my clients to create spaces that speak to their interests, lifestyles and personal tastes.  My own style of design is classic and clean with a hint of edge or transition to make it interesting, however I enjoy creating spaces in all types of design and style.  I pride myself on my attention to detail, obsession for quality and providing a first-class experience for my clients.

In my free time, I spend time with my husband, Brad, and our dogs, Piper and Gabby.  I love running, hiking and boating; and to travel back to Wichita to visit my 4 grown daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.
